The HHG Accountant is responsible for processing and closing files including auditing freight bills and invoicing clients for services, responding to colleague inquiries regarding carrier costs and participating in special assignments as requested. We strongly prefer 3 or more years of accounting experience and prior experience in the transportation/freight/van line industry. This individual must be very customer service oriented along with high attention to detail and accuracy under pressure to process a high volume of work under deadline. Must have solid working knowledge of various software applications including MS Office products, Solomon and/or Great Plains or other widely used accounting program. Must have common sense and ability to make logical decisions based on factual information.
