Altair is privately held by the original founder and senior management. We have no parent company or subsidiaries, and have no plans for mergers, acquisitions, or other significant organizational changes.
As an independent company, Altair focuses on investment decisions that yield long-term benefits to all stakeholders. We deliver superior results in all business environments because we have the flexibility to make our own decisions and selectively partner with the best providers around the globe.
Similarly, Altair is not legally affiliated with any of our suppliers and does not operate a pay-to-participate supplier network. We are never bound to use a particular supplier for a given service. Instead, suppliers earn opportunities and recognition from Altair through outstanding performance with regard to price, accuracy and exemplary customer service. Our strategy for allocating business among third party suppliers is dictated solely by the needs of the client, the demands of the situation and the demonstrated ability of these suppliers to provide services that meet our requirements for quality.
