Altair provides comprehensive supplier management to our clients as part of our total relocation management program. This service includes pre-selection of the most qualified suppliers worldwide (from real estate agents and appraisers to van lines and temporary living providers) and the ongoing management of each supplier’s performance.
Because we are an independent company, we have the latitude to select the best supplier for the job, no matter the location. All supplier partnerships are meticulously reviewed, selected for the best possible service in the area required, monitored closely, and evaluated after each transaction.
We do not operate any pay-to-participate networks, and no service provider can pay to acquire our business.
Diversity is also important to Altair, and we promote diversity in all of our business relationships: with our clients, as a certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE); with our employees, through hiring practices; and with our suppliers, through the use of socially disadvantaged business enterprises.
In order to meet our supplier diversity and quality objectives, we classify and maintain third-party certification information for qualifying suppliers:
- Minority Owned Business (African American, Asian Indian-Subcontinent, Asian Pacific, Hispanic, Native American)
- Women Owned (Minority, Non-Minority)
- Service Disabled Veteran Owned
Suppliers eligible or certified for these classifications are collectively referred to as MWSDVBE (Minority, Women, Service Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise). Altair follows the definitions and guidelines set forth in the United States Code of Federal Regulations; Title 13, Volume 1.
