FRISCO, TEXAS (March 14, 2022) – Brian Potts, executive vice president of the Americas at Altair Global, was announced as one of the inaugural members of the Worldwide ERC^® Sustainability Advisory Council for 2022.

Worldwide ERC initiated this council to seek expertise and guidance from industry members to help shape a common approach on sustainability for the relocation industry. Additionally, the council aims to ensure global mobility continues its role as a leader in business opportunity and growth.

“My goal on this council is to spread awareness, passion and education to each individual I come across on the significance of sustainability,” said Potts. “It starts at the country level with the Conference of the Parties annually, down to the corporate level for commitment to change and progresses from there to each individual on lifestyle choices. Realistically, we can all do something to make a difference.”

The council conducted its first meeting in February, discussing what Worldwide ERC can and should do with respect to sustainability efforts. Members noted a welcomed desire to work together for the common goal of bringing awareness and solutions to the table. Their next meeting is scheduled for April 20.

Potts has previously engaged with Worldwide ERC efforts, having moderated and participated in previous panels for the organization. He also continues his commitment to ongoing education and professional development in the mobility industry by holding Worldwide ERC’s Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) and Global Mobility Specialist-Talent Management (GMS-T) certifications.

Potts joined Altair’s Pacific region office in Walnut Creek, Calif. in 1997. He has been promoted several times throughout his career with Altair, culminating with his current position in 2020.

Potts received a Bachelor of Science in business from Hayward State University in California. Additionally, he has held a California real estate license since 2001.
