JASON BEAUDREAUCHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Jason Beaudreau is our Chief Technology Officer. Simply said, he’s our tech leader. Intricately said, he defines the technical strategy/policies for the company; he oversees security, architecture, and development of our technology infrastructure and applications; and he plays a lead role in enterprise-wide projects and establishing critical business processes.
Jason has extensive experience in IT management. He has almost 16 years at Altair Global, and he’s an Aggie (graduate of Texas A&M University) – he knows the value of culture, dedication, and organizational pride. He is a phenomenal leader and teacher, often quoted as saying, “people before systems.” He identifies his main role as “enterprise architecture,” and to hear him describe that phrase explains his quote. He divides enterprise architecture into three categories: people, systems, and processes – and he purposefully puts people first. He is dedicated to leading, mentoring, and developing his team and anyone else who needs a mentor. He even guest lectures at Southern Methodist University’s school of engineering for project management.
Jason simultaneously is and isn’t a classic “techie.” He loves hoodies, but is methodical enough to keep several outfits in his office. He is extremely efficient, as demonstrated in his preference for movies vs. TV shows. (Why? “Because you’re done in one sitting.”) He is introspective enough to know and use his INFJ Myers-Briggs personality type effectively. Self-described as “visual before technical,” he keeps a giant pad of paper on his desk to sketch ideas before taking them to a screen. With a lifelong interest in business and technology and several decades of industry experience, he’s the perfect CTO for our company.
