Altair Global CEO Dennis O’Gara Announces Retirement
PLANO, TEXAS (Feb. 29, 2016) – Altair Global, an industry-leading global mobility management company, announced today that Dennis O’Gara, Chief Executive Officer, will be retiring in April. O’Gara’s decision to retire will bring to close a very successful career of more than 40 years in business leadership. Mr. O’Gara began working with Altair Global in 2004 and served as Executive Vice President, Client Services, and President before being promoted to Chief Executive Officer.
“I have been honored to lead Altair Global the past few years,” O’Gara said. “After more than four decades in business, I’m ready to move on and let Altair Global’s new generation of leaders take the helm. I’m looking forward to retirement and to spending time with my wife, children, and grandchildren.”
In addition, the company also announced the promotion of two senior leaders. Chad Sterling, formerly President and Chief Financial Officer, has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Kathryn Cassidy, formerly Executive Vice President, Global Client Services, has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer.
“Dennis has been a strong leader and managed the company through some challenging times and transitions. He was the third CEO in the company’s 27-year history, following the two founders. His leadership and strategic decisions have positioned Altair well for the future and made the company what we are today,” said Chad Sterling.
Kathryn Cassidy stated, “We are so grateful for all of the contributions Dennis has made to the company and for his leadership over the past 12 years. We wish him all the best for the future and will miss him professionally and personally.”
