Altair Global’s Benny Tan Nominated to Vice Chair-Service Provider on WERC Board of Directors
We are thrilled to announce that Benny Tan, our esteemed Senior Vice President of APAC, is embarking on his final year of service on the Board of Directors for WERC in a new role: Vice Chair – Service Provider.
Benny’s remarkable contributions have been instrumental in shaping the direction of the relocation industry, particularly in the APAC region. Here we reflect on his tenure and look forward to the future.
Driving Innovation and Excellence in the Relocation Community
While Benny has been associated with the organization since 2008, his journey with the WERC board began in 2021 when he was appointed as one of five new members on the Board of Directors. Throughout his time with WERC to date, Benny has been instrumental in numerous initiatives aimed at driving innovation and excellence within the mobility community. Now for his final year of service to the Board, this new role positions Benny as a key advocate for service providers within the organization, advocating for their interests and fostering meaningful engagement. Additionally, the role includes being a part of the executive committee, where Benny will play a pivotal role in representing service providers in a mutually beneficial way – for example, providing upskilling and training resources.
Proud Achievements and Exciting Opportunities Ahead
Reflecting on his time on the WERC Board, Benny expressed pride in the progress made during his tenure so far and is inspired by the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
“I’m proud that I will be coming off the Board knowing it’s in a better place than when I first joined. I’m really inspired by what’s to come and where the Board—and WERC as a whole—will continue to bring the mobility community to.”
— Benny Tan, Senior Vice President of APAC
Benny’s dedication to WERC and the industry comes as no surprise, having received the WERC Meritorious Service Award just last year for his contributions to the organization, with his association with the organization spanning over a decade.
As he embarks on his final year of service, Benny remains steadfast in his commitment to ensuring that WERC continues to evolve and thrive.
