How Altair’s Corporate Volunteer Program Empowered Team Members to Give Back in 2024
Altair Global saw an 84% year-over-year increase in team member participation during 2024, as more team members volunteered through our corporate volunteer program, Altair Cares.
At Altair Global, giving back to our communities isn’t just a value—it’s a key part of our culture. In 2024, our team members tracked 2,173 hours of volunteering across the globe through Altair Cares, our corporate volunteer program powered by our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. This marks a 3.4% increase in total hours year over year from 2023, but even more inspiring is the jump in team member participation, with an 84% increase year-over-year in overall participation of team members taking time to volunteer in their communities –a true reflection of our people-first values and purpose-driven culture.
Part of this rise in participation is thanks to a companywide change implemented in 2023, where Altair introduced a new benefit: 8 hours of paid volunteer time per quarter, or 32 hours annually, to support individual and team-based volunteer efforts through our corporate volunteer program.
Where Altair Volunteered in 2024
Each team member at Altair is encouraged to dedicate their time to the causes that mean the most to them.
While Altair sponsors volunteer opportunities throughout the year, such as our annual Whoville Holiday Food Drive or the Big Texas Star Marathon near our Frisco, Texas headquarters, the lion’s share of 2024’s hours came from individual team members consistently volunteering in their own communities. This speaks to our ongoing mission of elevating the workforce mobility experience through innovation and compassion, not just for clients, but for the communities we call home.
Utilizing our internal volunteer hours tracker, we found that the top five causes that benefited from our helpful team members are:

Volunteer Champions at Altair in 2024
Bringing in the most volunteer hours for 2024 is Christine Scarpati, Senior Global Compensation Analyst based in Frisco, Texas. Christine logged an impressive 239 hours of community service, with most of her time focused on animal welfare, including volunteering for a border collie rescue and fostering three 3-week-old kittens—bottle- and syringe-feeding them back to health while managing their medical needs.
“By fostering, I’m giving an animal a second chance by providing a loving, safe place to live until a good home can be found. Fostering is sometimes hard work and can be heartbreaking at times, but it’s also fun and rewarding. It makes me happy knowing I helped to save an animal that otherwise might have ended up in a shelter, abandoned, or put to sleep.”
– Christine Scarpati, Senior Global Compensation Analyst at Altair Global
In second place is Clotilde de Coudenhove, Destination Services Consultant based in Altair’s Paris, France office. Clotilde logged nearly 200 hours volunteering with Protection Civile, a humanitarian association that offers emergency medical and first aid services. Her role includes supporting first aid stations at public events like the Olympics and conducting tours in her city to deliver essentials—like food, toothbrushes, and soap—to people experiencing homelessness.
“It is important for me to help others, and I am really happy Altair offers dedicated hours. It is especially important since I can do those events during working hours when it is the most complicated to find volunteers.”
– Clotilde de Coudenhove, Destination Services Consultant at Altair Global
Rounding out our top three volunteers is Charlotte Reeves, Vice President of Client Solutions, also based in Frisco, Texas. Charlotte dedicated 165 hours to animal welfare in 2024, primarily supporting A Voice for All Paws rescue and the Free to Live shelter.
A lifelong animal lover, Charlotte began fostering kittens during “kitten season” after realizing she had both the space and the heart to help. What began as a trial quickly became a passion project.“My first litter of kittens were a breeze, so much fun—and it was rewarding to see them go into loving homes,” she shared.
Now a regular foster, Charlotte sees the impact not just in the lives of the animals she helps, but in the joy she brings to adopting families as well. Charlotte emphasized how Altair’s corporate social responsibility efforts and corporate volunteer program has supported her efforts:
“It speaks to our commitment to the community while also recognizing that we are all individuals; we each have our own interests that we want to support. When I’ve done volunteer work with colleagues, I think that also builds a sense of team and I’ve had the chance to spend time with colleagues that I don’t interact with during my normal day.”
– Charlotte Reeves, Vice President of Client Solutions at Altair Global
For Charlotte, those few hours spent volunteering have created a ripple effect of compassion and connection—both furry and human.
