We are thrilled to announce that Jim Russo, Senior Vice President of Business Development, has been honored with the prestigious Salesperson of the Year award for 2022. With an impressive career spanning 36 years in the relocation industry, including the past 12 years at Altair, Russo’s exceptional achievements have rightfully earned him this well-deserved recognition.
A Salesperson Like No Other
Russo is well-known in the relocation industry as the best salesperson in the business, and his colleagues can’t help but sing his praises.

Russo’s journey in the relocation industry started in Norwalk, CT, before he made the move to Scottsdale, Arizona, 21 years ago. Since then, he has become an essential asset to Altair, using his relocation experience to deeply understand the challenges our clients face.
Apart from his dedication to winning prospects over, Russo has also built strong connections with colleagues over the years, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth. When asked about his favorite part of working at Altair and on the Business Development team, Russo shared, “Besides the culture, people, and reputation for excellence, I would say the relationships that I built with our team members over my career and the commitment from Altair to grow our business.”
A Friend On and Off the Course
When Russo is not closing deals and bringing new prospects on board, you can find him on the golf course, indulging in his favorite pastime. This well-rounded approach to life not only brings him joy but also enhances his ability to connect with others and build those lasting relationships.
