Altair Global’s Kathy Trachta Speaks with Dallas Business Journal on Relocating Your Company’s HQ to DFW

In this recently released article by the Dallas Business Journal, Kathy Trachta, senior vice president of Regional Client Services for the Central U.S. Region at Altair Global, shed light on the top considerations when relocating your company’s headquarters to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

“There’s an enormous amount of planning around the human resources and the talent aspect,” Trachta said. “Relocation policies that explain benefits associated with the move are typically drafted to ease the burden of moving from Point A to Point B, but also to attract their people that they want to go. The policies that are put in place are reflective of how the organization wants to try to keep that unit together.”

Trachta also touches on the fallout for those who decide not to relocate to the new location. To limit this fallout, she advises companies to make sure their relocation company partners with the local real estate community for educational tours and to conduct needs assessments to best determine what’s most important to employees and family members in deciding to make the move.
