Altair Global has been a proud partner of Move for Hunger, the nonprofit dedicated to mobilizing transportation networks to deliver excess food to communities in need in the U.S., since 2016. To further this commitment, we are thrilled to announce that Niamh Columb, Director of Supplier Partnerships at Altair, has joined Move for Hunger’s Corporate Action Network (CAN) committee.

As a committee member, Niamh will provide strategic guidance and support the nonprofit’s programs and strategic goals through fundraising, community and industry engagement, evaluating impact, and network growth.

Her passion for social causes such as food insecurity will be an asset – proven by her prior initiatives. Just last year, Niamh spearheaded and launched Altair’s Supplier KPIs and Report Card, which incorporates Move for Hunger as an Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) metric.

Niamh takes on the role from Patrick Keery, Vice President of Move Management at Altair, who served four years on the committee. “I have been so proud of Altair and our supplier partners for working together to raise awareness of food insecurity while participating in Move for Hunger’s commitment to sustainability and corporate citizenship,” Pat said. “Having worked with Niamh over the last three years as she led Altair’s Supplier Partnership’s ESG initiatives, I know how committed she is to the Move for Hunger mission. I am excited to see how she will drive these initiatives even further in her role as Altair’s representative on the CAN committee.”

“I am honored and grateful to be joining the Move for Hunger Corporate Action Network Committee. I am a strong supporter of their mission and look forward to working with my fellow committee members, supplier partners, and relocation industry peers as we work to reduce food insecurity.”
