PLANO, TEXAS (April 29, 2016) – Altair Global’s Chief Executive Officer, Chad Sterling, announced recently that Jason Beaudreau has been named chief technology officer (CTO). Previously Senior Vice President, Business Technology, Beaudreau’s role continues to focus on global technology, information management strategy, data security and privacy; however, his role as CTO expands upon his vital role in the execution of Altair’s global business strategy, particularly related to technology and information management.

Beaudreau oversees all technology-related departments at Altair Global and will continue to serve as a member of the executive management team. Beaudreau is responsible for defining the information technology (IT) strategies and policies for the company. He also oversees all aspects of information security, enterprise architecture, business continuity and the development of the company’s technology infrastructure and applications. In addition, he plays a lead role in managing company-wide projects, and in the establishment of critical business processes.

Beaudreau joined Altair’s global headquarters and central service center in Plano, Texas, as a contracted employee in 2000, and he was promoted to information technology director in 2005. He steadily increased the stature of IT within the company before joining the executive team in 2008. He has over 20 years of IT management experience and has served in a variety of leadership positions during his career, including roles as the managing partner of a Dallas-based technology consultancy, chief technical architect of a global healthcare company and an at-large enterprise architect.

Beaudreau graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in business analysis and management information systems. Beaudreau also holds multiple industry certifications, including the Worldwide ERC® certified relocation professional (CRP) and global mobility specialist (GMS) designations, the international association of privacy professionals certified information privacy technologist (CIPT) certification and the ISACA certified information security manager (CISM) certification.
