The title of Chief Technology Officer may have certain connotations, but what’s great about Altair Global’s CTO, Jason Beaudreau, are those connotations – plus the unexpected qualities that make him a refreshing leader. Like many CTOs, he’s tenacious and brings deep technical knowledge and vision to an innovative tech strategy. He’s casual and blends the best of Californian and Texan easygoingness – he roots for Texas A&M football, listens to Weezer, eats fried chicken and always keeps a change of clothes in his office in case he needs to change from casual to formal in a pinch.
When asked where his favorite place to ever live was, he said, “It’s never been about where I am, but who I’m with.” Likewise, he loves Altair because of the strong sense of purpose and camaraderie around serving customers, clients and each other. His top CliftonStrengths theme is relator, which means he values building relationships and working with others to reach goals. He’s adaptive and nimble in his leadership style because he values the fact that every team – and individual – needs something different.
A very proud Aggie (Texas A&M Alumnus), he’s always prioritized building a solid network full of dynamic people and enjoyed inviting others to join it. Steadfastly committed to continuous self-improvement and learning, his professional certifications are numerous and include membership to the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council® (WERC), the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), the Society for Information Management (SIM) and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) – and not to mention the following certifications: Certified Relocation Professional® (CRP), Global Mobility Specialist® (GMS), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
With the refreshing abilities to be casual while methodical and empathetic while technical, he’s the perfect fit for technology leadership at Altair Global.
