Hurricane Irma Precautions
We are carefully watching Hurricane Irma, and we wanted to let you know that we are doing our best to reach all of our transferees. We are also taking the necessary, temporary precautions in the following areas:
- Home Sale & Inventory – We are postponing the extension of all home sale activities for guaranteed buyouts and amended sales and postponing accepting any transactions with homes located in Puerto Rico, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas for approximately five to seven business days from today, September 9, 2017.
- Vacant Property Insurance – Our insurance provider will not insure any new properties at this time. We are reaching out to transferees to make sure they have adequate insurance for the potential storm. Their own insurance should oversee the potential claims to avoid further issues outside of Altair Global.
