PLANO, TEXAS (Mar. 13, 2018) – Altair Global, one of the world’s premier relocation management companies, has partnered with Move for Hunger, a national non-profit organization, to provide much-needed assistance to food banks across the United States. Altair Global will support Move for Hunger’s efforts to reduce food waste and fight hunger nationwide by educating their staff, suppliers and clients about food waste during the moving process.

People throw away a lot of things when they move, including perfectly good food. Move for Hunger’s network of relocation professionals volunteers to collect this unopened, non-perishable food and delivers it to their local food banks. As partners, Altair Global will work to integrate Move for Hunger’s model into our clients’ relocation policies. To date, Move for Hunger has collected and delivered more than 10 million pounds of food – providing more than 8.3 million meals – to food banks and pantries across the United States and Canada.
