Altair Global Welcomes Kelsey Higgins as Vice President, Client Partner Experience
Altair Global is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelsey Higgins as Vice President, Client Partner Experience, to our Midwest Service Center in Minnetonka, Minnesota. In this role, Kelsey serves as a primary point of accountability for client partner engagement, supporting program strategy, policy guidance, and stakeholder training across client mobility programs.
Kelsey's path to Altair is one built on genuine connection and a deep-rooted commitment to the people she serves. A South Dakota native who came to Minnesota for college (and never left), she has spent her career in the global mobility industry building client relationships that go well beyond a contract or an SLA.
A Career Built on Relationships
Before joining Altair, Kelsey held Director of Client Relations roles at two global relocation management companies, where she led customized mobility programs and drove significant changes for Fortune 500 clients with high satisfaction. She is a WERC Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) and has co-presented at two annual regional mobility conferences.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in international relations and a philosophy minor from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota — a fitting foundation for a career that would take her from client boardrooms in Barcelona to mobility conferences across the country. After graduating, she spent a year with AmeriCorps tutoring math to students in need before stumbling into relocation in 2010. As she puts it, it's "a sticky industry; once you're in, it's hard to get out." And she wouldn't have it any other way.

“One of the coolest parts about my job is that we get to know our clients and their businesses so well. Instead of learning about just one industry, I get to learn about tech, mining, manufacturing — and find ways to support their unique needs.”
– Kelsey Higgins, Vice President of Client Partner Experience at Altair Global
Client Experience as a True Partnership
For Kelsey, client partner experience is a true philosophy. "It's more than KPIs or SLAs or reporting," she says. "It comes down to how the client feels about us as a partner. When they see our name on the caller ID, are they excited to pick up? Do they see us as an extension of their team?"
That mindset shapes everything from how she builds new client relationships to how she solves problems. With her number one CliftonStrengths being 'Strategic,' Kelsey is quick to note that what a client partner says they need often requires further investigation. "If a client is asking why a field doesn't exist on the website, my job is to dig deeper and figure out what they're really trying to solve, and then find the right solution, not just treat the symptom."
Her other top CliftonStrengths — Connectedness, Achiever, Activator, and Adaptability — reflect an approach that is as relational as it is results-driven. She has even facilitated joint strengths sessions between her own team and clients, using the framework to better understand how the two groups can work together.
“Midwest is the Best”
Ask Kelsey about the Midwest, and she'll tell you: "Midwest is the best!" And she means it professionally as much as personally. In her experience, Midwest clients bring a distinctive quality to the partnership: strong values, authenticity, and an emphasis on relationships that she finds deeply motivating.
"Companies in the Midwest tend to be solid, established organizations that have worked really hard to be in the position they're in. And relationships are everything here. Being genuine will get you far." It's a business culture that aligns naturally with Kelsey's own, and with Altair's longstanding reputation in the region.
Similarly, Altair's Midwest Service Center has been a cornerstone of the company's Americas operations, and Kelsey's appointment reflects a continued investment in the depth of talent and service capacity the region offers our client partners.
"With Kelsey's tenacious spirit, paired with her extensive global mobility experience, we can't wait to see how she nurtures and grows the client partner experience for our Midwest region," said Kathy Couture, SVP of Atlantic and Midwest Regions. "We have no doubt that she's the perfect fit for Altair as we continuously strive to expand our presence in the Americas."
Looking Ahead
From day one at Altair, Kelsey was already itching to get to what she loves most: meeting her client partners. "My favorite part of this job is building relationships. A goal of mine is to have a great pulse on my clients — their programs, their pain points, what's going well — and to be a resource they're genuinely excited to hear from."
Outside of work, Kelsey keeps busy with her two young children (a six-year-old son and three-year-old daughter), exploring the lakes around the Twin Cities, and hosting guests in her basement podcast studio, where she runs a seasonal parenting podcast featuring conversations about unique perspectives on raising kids. As a weekend brunch lover, she'll also tell you she has strong opinions about biscuits and gravy, and that her stepmom's version remains undefeated.
