Altair Global Holds “Can the CEO” Food Drive

PLANO, TEXAS (Dec. 11, 2017) – Altair Global hosted a food drive from November 1-17, 2017, benefiting the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) in Dallas, Texas. Altair Global team members collected a total of 770 pounds of food, which will provide more than 640 meals for those in need.

The theme of the food drive was “Can the CEO” where Altair Global team members were encouraged to bring a bounty of canned goods and non-perishables that would overwhelm CEO Chad Sterling’s office. Altair Global partnered with Move for Hunger and Daryl Flood Relocation and Logistics, the latter of whom delivered the donations to the NTFB.

Sterling said, “We know that over a hundred thousand people struggle with food insecurity in our own backyard. In partnering with Move for Hunger and Daryl Flood Relocation and Logistics, we were honored to be able to give back to our neighbors during the holiday season. The North Texas Food Bank leads an immensely worthy cause and we are so privileged to be able to contribute.”

Founded in 1982, the NTFB is a Dallas nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated, purchased and prepared foods through a network of more than 200 Partner Agencies in 13 counties. As a member of Feeding America, they support the nutritional needs of children, families and seniors through education, advocacy and strategic partnerships.

November 2017 marked the inaugural “Can the CEO” food drive, and Altair Global intends to make this an annual tradition during the holiday season.
