FRISCO, TEXAS (December 15, 2020) – Altair Global, the only global mobility company focused on experience management, encouraged others to get into the holiday spirit while collecting food and donations for a good cause.
Organized by members of Altair Global’s staff, in conjunction with Move For Hunger, Altair Global held a holiday, Grinch-themed food drive on December 4-5, 2020. Taking place both in-person and virtually, the relocation company collected more than 1,500 pounds of food and $1,550 in donations. Through the combination of actual food items and online donations, Altair Global helped to provide 5,027 meals to those in need.
Decked head-to-toe in a Grinch costume and accompanied by Whoville helpers, Altair Global’s CEO, Chad Sterling, was there to greet participants who arrived to drop off donations near the company’s Frisco headquarters in the Hall Park complex.
“We know this year has been difficult for so many,” said Sterling. “With a growing number of those in need and COVID-19 compounding the issue, we thought we’d provide a fun, socially distanced way for Altair to give back and support the fight to end hunger.”
Altair also provided an online option to donate to the food drive in awareness of social distancing measures.
All food donations were delivered to the North Texas Food Bank, and all monetary donations were presented to Move For Hunger to help the cause. Nelson Westerberg, a global provider of moving and storage services, assisted in the drive by providing a moving truck to deliver the food donations.
