STAR: A Relocating Employee’s Digital Mobility Companion

Designed to simplify every step of the relocation journey, a fresh look-and-feel greets our customers and “Actions”–or tasks–now drive the experience. It’s a relocating employee’s digital to-do list, tracking everything from uploading receipts for reimbursement to booking their final move travel. Actions ensure employees know exactly what to do next without any guessing, keeping their journey moving forward smoothly. This is all in service of reducing customer effort–an important satisfaction metric we measure at Altair.
From the Altair Anywhere app or their desktop, STAR navigates employees through every step of their relocation through one simple digital experience. Within STAR, employees can personalize their account by assigning delegates to help manage their move, sign up to receive SMS or email alerts, and enable accessibility mode for improved visibility. To manage their relocation benefits, they can use Altair’s proprietary budgeting tool to carefully forecast expenses within a budget, securely enter bank details and request funds at the click of a button, find curated information about their destination city, keep track of documents and compliance records, and more–all while feeling informed, supported, and in control.

Seamlessly accessed from the STAR home page, Marketplace is Altair’s answer to limited services benefits packages while enabling customer choice and maintaining a high standard for duty of care.
Altair’s global supplier partner network consists of carefully vetted and managed providers who balance cost containment with exceptional service delivery. From a modern, tile-based navigation, employees can search our refreshed Marketplace of move partners based on their unique needs. By directing the focus to outcomes, employees can easily recognize what they need, such as Sell My Home, Ship Boxes, Rent a Car, Move Pets, Utility Setup, and Language Learning.

Not sure where to begin? No problem. Marketplace also has employees covered with popular move bundles, such as First Time Homebuyer, Moving from College, and International Assignment. No matter how they begin their search, a Favorites list allows employees to easily review robust company profiles, compare quotes, and select their ideal move partners with confidence.
