Altair Global Showcases Experience and Innovation at WERC Global 25
It was a jam-packed, insightful, and fun week at WERC Global 25 in Salt Lake City, UT. We’ve recapped the highlights below, including our annual Supplier Partner Awards luncheon and participation in conference panel sessions.
Altair Global’s 9th Annual Supplier Partner Awards
To kick off the week’s festivities, we held our 9th annual Supplier Partner Awards and luncheon at Urban Hill restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City, where we honored 14 recipients for their excellent efforts serving our relocating customers, as well as one recipient of the annual Move For Hunger award. See all of the 2025 Supplier Partner Award winners here.
This year, we added to our annual award accolades with the first-ever President’s Award, carefully hand-selected by our own President and Chief Operating Officer, Kathryn Cassidy. The mood throughout the event was positive and inviting, with everyone getting to network and reminisce about their partner journeys with Altair throughout a three-course meal from the restaurant’s James Beard Award-nominated chef.

The STARs Aligned at Our Booth
More specifically, the launch of our reimagined customer experience on our STAR platform aligned with the excitement of WERC Global 25, allowing our team members an opportunity to showcase its streamlined look and feel, as well as new features, live with demos at our exhibit hall booth.
Our President and Chief Operating Officer, Kathryn Cassidy walked us through the next phase of Altair’s STAR platform, featuring a modern design, simplified navigation, task-driven organization, and AI-powered support – all in one digital experience so relocating customers can move with ease and feel supported every step of the way.
Within the STAR platform lives Marketplace, built for lump-sum and cash-allowance benefits programs, giving employees the power to browse, compare, and book vetted move companies from Altair’s trusted network of service partners. Check out the reel we shared while at WERC Global 25 and discover how the STAR platform is modernizing moves.

Spotlighting Mobility’s Only XM-Focused RMC
The energy was bustling at WERC Global 25. And that energy was clear to see at our booth, where our team members shared more about our experience management (XM) philosophy as well as information on Ali, Altair’s 24/7 AI-powered virtual assistant.
Our booth showcased data insights fueled by customer sentiment feedback surveys, such as learnings that, through our XM practices, customers are 3.3 times more likely to have a positive view of their employer’s mobility program.
And back once again by popular demand, we came ready with our limited-edition, commemorative enamel pins, showcasing fun location-specific relocation-related quips like a “Moves with Altitude” bear with ski goggles, a cowboy-hat-and-lasso adorned pin stating “Ain’t Our First Move,” and an event-specific design with the Utah mountains.
Altair Team Members Lent their Expertise and Experience
Susan Myers, Senior Vice President of Global Financial Services, kicked off the week’s events with a fantastic Tax Summit session,“The Future of Mobility Tax Data,” focused on bringing relevant data to an organization to tell a story and drive action, whether that’s about compliance, decision-making, or policy.
On Wednesday, Benny Tan, Senior Vice President of APAC, moderated a panel session on what everyone should know about APAC in global mobility. After moderating “APAC Unboxed: Key Perspectives for Global Leaders,” Benny shared his top takeaways from the region:
- APAC is not just the region you manage; it’s the region you move with
- It’s not about translating policies, but translating perception and culture
- The more you know about APAC, the more you realize you don’t know about APAC

Wrapping up WERC Global 25 was the closing session, which came with a couple happy surprises for Altair – starting with Benny Tan, SVP of APAC, receiving the WERC President’s Award!
Benny shared how thankful he is for receiving such a prestigious honor, reminiscing about starting in the mobility industry more than 20 years ago and how at the end of the day, mobility is about the people who help bridge the worlds between East and West, between home and new beginnings, between business and belonging.
