Laura Gatins Appointed to Vice Chair of University of Texas at Dallas Center for Global Business Advisory Board
FRISCO, TEXAS (August 4, 2022) – Altair Global, the first global mobility company focused solely on experience management (XM), is thrilled to announce that Laura Gatins, senior vice president of global operational excellence, has been appointed to vice chair of The University of Texas at Dallas’ (UTD) Center for Global Business advisory board.
The UTD Center for Global Business advisory council has been meeting twice a year for the past five years, allowing professionals from Altair to build relationships and provide opportunities to students to learn about global business and talent mobility through internships, meetings and project-based work.
“Altair has had a successful internship program since its inception over the last few years,” said Gatins. “I am excited to see our partnership with UT Dallas continue to blossom as we support a new pipeline of talent for the global mobility industry. I am honored to serve on the committee and do my part to mentor these students and young professionals.”
Gatins joined Altair Global in 2010 as vice president of global services and has been promoted multiple times in her career with Altair. She’s held her position of senior vice president of global operational excellence since 2016 and has been in the mobility industry since 1998.
Gatins earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Central Connecticut State University and a master’s degree in industrial organizational psychology from Fairfield University in Connecticut.
