Reducing Food Waste: Altair Global and Move For Hunger are Making a Difference, One Move at a Time
For nine years, Altair Global, the first experience management (XM)–focused global mobility company, has partnered with the nonprofit, Move For Hunger, along with our supplier partners and community, to help fight hunger and continue reducing food waste.
Over the past nine years, we’ve received quarterly impact reports detailing the pounds of food transported, meals provided to those in need, and C02-equivalent impact, measured by passenger vehicle emissions removed from the road for one year, made possible through the work of Move for Hunger, a national nonprofit that uses transportation networks to deliver surplus food to communities across the U.S.
Reducing Food Waste Through Our Annual Whoville Food Drive
At the end of each year, Altair hosts our annual Grinch-themed food drive, inviting partners, team members, and Frisco neighbors to come together in support of the local community. In 2025, we held our record-breaking sixth annual “How the Grinch Fights Hunger” event, collecting 10,551 pounds of food and $10,000 in donations to provide 48,528 meals for families in need across North Texas.
Our Impact
Throughout our entire partnership, Altair has helped provide more than 1.1 million meals for those in need. With our supplier partners, we’ve delivered more than six times that impact.

Altair and Move for Hunger
The dedication and support of our teams for Move for Hunger’s mission to continue reducing food waste and fight hunger continues to grow. We’re actively making a difference in our communities through food drives and team member participation, including leaders like Niamh Columb, Director of Client Partner Experience. Over the past year, Niamh has deepened her involvement with the organization, taking on a leadership role as co-chair for Move for Hunger’s Corporate Action Network (CAN) committee.
We are honored to contribute to this impact, especially in 2025, as the nonprofit’s most impactful year to date, with more than 17 million pounds of food transported to more than 600 food banks and pantries. As we enter our 10th year of partnership in 2026, we look forward to continuing to make a meaningful difference in the communities we serve.
