
Altair Global Names Michelle Baxter as SVP of EMEA
Altair Global is excited to announce the appointment of Michelle Baxter as SVP of our EMEA region.
In her new role, Michelle will be responsible for the customer and client experience, team member engagement, and operational excellence across Altair’s European business. She will also continue to manage the company’s UK operations team and additionally manage client services and the region’s five in-house destination services offices.
“We are delighted to have Michelle move into this important role in our EMEA organization,” said Kathryn Cassidy, President and Chief Operating Officer at Altair Global. “She brings great leadership skills together with an intense focus on client and customer experience, and we know she’s the perfect individual to steer this region as we continue to expand throughout Europe.”
Relocating Others As She’s Experienced Herself
Michelle joined Altair Global in 2021 as the Vice President of Global Operations for the company’s EMEA region. She came to the organization with more than 10 years of holding global leadership roles in the mobility industry and a personal background in relocation. Having moved from California to the UK herself, she understands firsthand the excitement – and challenges – that come from an international relocation. She expressed enthusiasm about getting to lead and unite team members more in this new role—something she’s passionate about.

From Psychology to Customer Experience
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara, a Master of Arts in Psychology from Pepperdine University, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.
Prior to joining Altair, she held positions as Global Head of Customer Experience (CX) and Global Head of Implementation and Process Excellence at a global relocation services company. In these roles, Michelle led and developed a senior global customer experience team as well as created and developed the first customer experience, process and operational excellence, and implementation departments.
In her new role with the organization, she looks forward to strengthening client relationships as part of her new responsibilities with Altair’s EMEA market.
“From a client perspective, I am very passionate about building strong and long-lasting client relationships and look forward to the continued opportunity to do so in this role,” said Michelle.
