Following up on our 2023 Earth Day update, we’re excited to share the continued progress and incredible contributions our Supplier Partners have made over the last year toward Altair’s Climate Impact programs. These contributions have supported two global forestries, OneTreePlanted and Ecologi, as well as Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity and their Zero Net Energy (ZNE) program.

Since we launched the Climate Impact program, nearly 30,000 trees have been planted globally and more than $27,000 has been donated to build energy-efficient homes in local communities.

Examples of how donations through our partners are positively impacting global communities include:

• In Kenya’s capital of Nairobi, donations through Ecologi support the hiring of local villagers who assist with reforestation efforts. In addition to restoring forest ecosystems, this “Employ to Plant” methodology results in multiple positive socioeconomic and environmental impacts.
• One Tree Planted recently reached an incredible milestone – over the last 10 years, they have planted more than 100 million trees across 72 countries!
• This May, Habitat for Humanity is completing a community of Zero Net Energy homes in Colorado. When complete, this development will provide 491 families with sustainable and affordable housing.
