Celebrating our ESG Impact: Altair Global Receives Mobility for Good Award from NTRP and UTD

Altair Global was proud to take home one of two ‘Mobility for Good’ ESG Impact Awards during the North Texas Relocation Professionals’ (NTRP) and University of Texas at Dallas’ (UTD) “Mobility for Good” Spring Conference, beating out a major competitor.

Altair has held a valued partnership with UTD for the past 9 years, with Laura Gatins, EVP of Team Member Experience, taking part as Vice Chair on the Center for Global Business Advisory Council board at UTD since 2022.

This partnership provides opportunities for Altair team members to connect with students while they learn more about global business, as well as find internships and experience.

UT Dallas Global Mobility Club recently partnered with NTRP to host their “Mobility for Good” Spring Conference, a hub for current and future mobility professionals to connect, learn more from corporate workshops, and get firsthand experiences from those who have been in the industry for several years.

The conference closed with a Mobility for Good Awards ceremony to highlight those who have contributed to making a significant impact in global mobility within these three categories: Humanitarian Impact, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Impact, and Individual/Group Contribution. The awards were presented by self-nomination and voted on live at the conference.

Altair is honored to be one of the two winners in the ESG category, further amplifying our commitment to our ESG initiatives and creating a legacy of sustainable culture. Our ESG committee, mentioned below, has transformed how we integrate environmental, social, and governance impacts in all strategic initiatives throughout our organization.

The goals of our committee and overall ESG impact and efforts include:

  • Bringing awareness and inspiring action in our team members
  • Minimizing or greatly reducing our environmental impact where we can
  • Giving back to our local communities
  • Ensuring we’re all following the rules as we go
