More Than One Million Meals: Altair Global and Move For Hunger Enter 9th Year of Partnership
Altair Global, the first global mobility company focused solely on experience management, and Move For Hunger have renewed their partnership—and their fight against hunger—for the ninth year.
Altair and Move For Hunger, a national nonprofit that delivers excess food to communities in need by utilizing transportation networks, began working together in 2012 before becoming partners in 2016. Over the past eight years, the partnership has provided 1.1 million meals to people facing hunger, actively making a difference in communities while continuing the fight against food insecurity. We look forward to continuing our work with Move For Hunger in the year ahead.

“This milestone reflects our team’s dedication and commitment to reducing waste and fighting hunger. Our partnership with Move For Hunger and their efforts to make a positive impact nationwide enable us to find ways to make relocation services more sustainable and impactful.”
– Chad Sterling, CEO of Altair Global.
Move For Hunger and its founder, Adam Lowy, have transported more than 61 million pounds of food to food banks across the United States and Canada, and have provided more than 51 million meals to those facing hunger. Since 2009, Move For Hunger has created a network of moving companies, communities, and relocation management companies across the nation to collect and donate food, all while reducing waste during moves.
“Altair Global has been an incredible partner for so many years now. We couldn’t be more excited about everything we’ve accomplished together and what’s still to come!”
– Adam Lowy, Executive Director and Founder of Move for Hunger
In support, Altair hosts various food drives and fundraisers throughout the year, ending the year with its annual Grinch-themed food drive. Support from Altair team members, partners, and the local community helped provide more than 43,000 meals through last year’s drive alone.
Some Altair team members also take the partnership a step further. Niamh Columb, Director of Client Partner Experience, took the lead as Co-Chair of Move For Hunger’s Corporate Action Network (CAN) committee, supporting the organization’s goals and creating a positive impact in mobility.
