FRISCO, TEXAS (May 12, 2021) – Patrick Keery, vice president of Move Management at Altair Global, was re-appointed to Move For Hunger’s Corporate Action Network (CAN) committee for 2021. The CAN team’s primary goal is to support Move For Hunger’s mission to fight hunger and food waste.
“I’m honored to do my part for Altair and the relocation industry as a whole to help further eliminate food waste with Move for Hunger,” said Keery. “I’m proud to have been a part of the Corporate Action Network this past year to work together in a combined effort and commitment to sustainability and corporate citizenship.”
While the CAN committee typically meets quarterly, Keery first joined the committee in 2020 just before the pandemic hit, resulting in participating in two meetings throughout 2020 and one so far in 2021.
The committee is focused on helping Move For Hunger rescue and transport more pounds of food, as well as help network and bring more awareness to the organization. Within the CAN team, Keery sits on a subcommittee for recruiting and engaging RMCs and provides valuable insight and networking opportunities as a team member of Altair Global.
Altair Global has dedicated their efforts to help Move For Hunger’s mission to fight food insecurity and end food waste since 2016, providing 704,548 meals and 845,458 pounds of food in 2020 alone. Through their partnership, Altair Global and Move For Hunger will continue to fight hunger in 2021.
